Ultrasonic flow meters Badger Meter Dynasonics DXN, TFX-500w, etc.

Dynasonics DXN Portable Ultrasonic Flow Meter
- a true hybrid ultrasonic flow meter capable of measuring fluid flow using several technologies, including: Doppler, time-pulse measurement method and the method of liquid heat flow (thermal energy).
- measures volumetric flow and energy consumption for heating/cooling in pure liquids, as well as with a small amount of suspended solids or aeration, such as surface water or sewage.
- they are pressed against the outer surface of the pipes and do not come into contact with the liquid flowing inside. This technology has unique advantages over alternative devices, including: low-cost installation, no pressure loss, no moving parts for maintenance or replacement, no compatibility problem with liquids and a large bidirectional measurement range that ensures accuracy of readings even at very low and high flow rates.
- The TFXL series ultrasonic flowmeter is superimposed on the outer surface of the pipe and does not come into contact with the liquid flowing inside. This flow meter provides instantaneous measurement of flow and total volume thanks to a 4-20 mA output and pulse output.
- The TFX-500w is well suited for building automation, heating/ventilation/air conditioning (HVAC), water and wastewater treatment and water distribution.
- it can be equipped with sensors of two versions:
The DT9 series overhead sensor is recommended for use on most pipes made of metal or plastic. The DT9 is rated for Type 6 (IP67) and can operate at temperatures up to +200°C (+400 °F).
DP7 series sensors with a quick sensor installation system can be installed on a system of pipes that do not allow ultrasound penetration. DP7 is inserted into the wall or in direct contact with the liquid.
- The UFX series Doppler flowmeter has an advanced ultrasonic measurement technology that provides accurate and reliable flow rate analysis.
The UFX series flow meter is an economical flow measurement system for closed solid pipes with diameters from DN 6 to DN 3000 (1/4 to 120 inches).
- With high power transmission and reception sensitivity, the WT-1 can be used in a wide range of applications, including pipes with rough surfaces.
- Based on a unique microprocessor-based BIS and a reference quartz oscillator for high-precision measurements.
High radiation power and a wide range of reception sensitivity make it easy to measure materials with a rough surface, such as cast iron.
- It is an intelligent and versatile ultrasonic meter/controller designed to measure the level, volume and flow of an open channel. It is used for flow measurement, flow control and data logging.
